EarthyGlow Burning and Storing Tips

1. Keep wick straight, centered and trimmed to 1/4".
2. MOST IMPORTANT TIP: The first time you burn your EARTHYGLOW candle; you should allow the candle to completely liquefy (as far as it will spread). Typically, 1 hour per each 1 inch in diameter, allow up to 4 hours on first burn. This enhances the pooling effect for dipping into the warm scented oil to use as a lotion. Subsequent burns will liquefy faster. If you do not allow candle to liquefy completely, it will create a "memory" burn causing a narrow tunnel effect and not last as long. Allowing your candle to liquefy on each burn will result in candle burning all the way down the container for a nice clean look.
3. When extinguishing candle, to prevent smoking, simply dip wick into wax or use a candle snuffer. This will also help retain the wonderful aroma your candle has produced. Also, remove any debris that has fallen into your candle.
4. Allow candle to cool completely and harden before relighting.
5. EarthyGlow is founded on giving its customers the most natural candle on the market. We do not put any additives or preservatives in our candles. EarthyGlow Soy Lotion Candles contains pure soy and the finest fragrance oils only. Therefore, some fragrances may yellow over time when exposed to light. This only affects its appearance and not its performance. Please store your candle in a dark place and use your candle within a reasonable amount of time.
6. Do not place soy candles in direct sunlight or leave in your car, as extreme temperature changes will cause discoloring/yellowing in your candles, melting candle (it will reform itself), and candle may lose a percentage of it’s scent. It is best to store your candles in a dark, cool, and dry location.
7. Upon cooling, your soy candle may have a mottled look on the top. This is completely normal and a natural distinctive element of 100% all natural soy wax. Tip: After your candle has cooled, you can clean your container with a dry towel. Simply shine the inside and outside by pressing firmly around the glass.
8. Uneven or fast burn can be caused by extreme room temperature changes or drafts (ceiling fans).

Please note during warmer months and places with year round warm climates your candle(s) may become soft when subject to warm temperatures. EarthyGlow candles are pure soybean candles that burn at a cooler temperature. For this reason, they may become soft or "sweat" and show a drop or a pool of scent on top . This is normal for an all-natural candle. Burn it as you would normally.

Caution: Failure to follow instructions could result in fire hazard, injury, or smoke damage. Keep candle contents free of matches, wick trimmings or other flammable materials. Keep wick centered and trimmed to 1/4" to prevent smoking and build up on the container. Burn only on stable heat resistant surface for not more than 4 hours at a time. Keep out of drafts. Discontinue use when only ½" remains at bottom. Do not move candle while burning or if contents are hot. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
